2017 Exhibitors & Artists
This year, we have changed the method for which Exhibitors and Artist Alley participants sign-up to vend for Chicago TARDIS. In the last few years, our waiting list to vend has grown to never before seen proportions. We are utilizing our ticketing platform, Eventbrite, to allow a more sufficient and organized way of sign-up.
If you are an Artist, please note:
Some changes will be made to our Artist Alley placement at Chicago TARDIS 2017. Our returning Artists will be located in our hallway outside of the Exhibitor area. Anyone new to Artist Alley will fill up the remainder of this area on a “first come, first serve” basis, then we will be expanding to the room directly across from our pre-existing Exhibitor area. This will allow us to accommodate a significant portion of the waiting list we accumulated in 2016.
Who do we consider an Exhibitor? An Exhibitor is someone who regularly sells licensed or pre-made items of a specific interest. An example would be a comic book type retail store selling their items in a limited set-up.
Please realize that the space which has opened up for any additional Exhibitors in 2017 is extremely limited. When this space is sold out, you may apply to be on our waiting list. You can read more about this below.
Upon paying and signing up to be a 2017 Exhibitor, you will be contacted by e-mail to fill out and return our liability paperwork.
Who do we consider an Artist? If you are a vendor who makes handmade goods and does not sell licensed, pre-made product, we will ask you to join our lineup in Artist Alley.
This year, we have expanded our Artist Alley to the area outside the main Exhibitor area as well as doubling the ballroom space where the 2016 Artist Alley was located.
Upon paying and signing up to join our Artist Alley, you will be contacted by e-mail to fill out and return our liability paperwork.
If you missed the ability to sign-up for our limited Exhibitor space, you can sign-up to be on our waiting list here.
Due to the limited availabilty of Exhibitor space at our convention, there is no guarantee that you will be taken off the waiting list for 2017.
Please note that you will not be asked for payment when you put yourself on this waiting list. Payment will be expected in full upon being contacted about admission into our convention. You will also be expected to fill out our liability paperwork.
When our spots in Artist Alley fill up, we will begin a waiting list for 2018. That link will be posted here as it becomes available.
