May Updates
Things are changing rapidly now, and we've made a fair amount of updates to our guest list and more over the last two months. We wanted to give you all an update about the current status of our 2021 event and a bit of a summary of everything you can look forward to so far!
Current Convention Guidelines
On May 13th, the Illinois Department of Public Health released new guidance for not only fully vaccinated individuals but also information about the Illinois Bridge Phase of re-opening. You can read the details of this here. The IDPH also expects the state to enter a stage of full re-opening (Phase 5) by June 11th, which does not limit capacity on events.
Regardless of these state changes, our venue, the Westin Chicago Lombard, is still asking you to wear a mask while you are on the premises and for attending their currently scheduled events. As of right now, we will be maintaining this expectation for all staff, attendees, and guests for our event.
This guidance from our venue may change before our November event date, and we will update you on any and all rules we will be adopting for attendees of Chicago TARDIS as this changes.
Guests
To date, we've announced guests like 6th Doctor Colin Baker, Sadie Miller, Simon Fisher-Becker, and many more. You can see the current list on our site.
We do expect to be adding more guests throughout the coming summer.
Hotel
More rooms have been added to our hotel block at the Westin Chicago Lombard.
Book yours now for only $115 per night. We will work quickly to add more rooms to the current block if they fill up once again.
