During our time of staying at home, we wanted to give you all something creative to do! This is where we came up with our idea to hold a Virtual Cosplay Contest!

Please be sure to read all the following rules before you enter. We are giving everyone one week (until 11:59 PM on May 9th) to give us their most creative cosplay in the following categories. Screen accuracy is not encouraged - the more outside the box, the better!

ENTRY RULES

Our theme is VILLAINS.

This contest will run from Saturday, May 2nd until Saturday, May 9th at 11:59 PM. All entrants will use this form to submit their name, e-mail, entry category (individual, family, child (under 12), or pet), title of their entry, and a photo (or photos - up to 3) of their entry. You may only enter in one category per email address. Any entries in the child category must be submitted by an individual over 18 years of age.

Anyone can enter this contest as long as they are over 18 years of age. You do not have be a past or current attendee of our convention, Chicago TARDIS.

Chicago TARDIS is a family-friendly convention. All costumes must adhere to this and be no more than a PG-13 rating as we may be sharing entries on social media.

Costumes should be from Doctor Who, a related show (Torchwood, Sarah Jane Adventures, Class), or inspired by the same.

We will be judging on these three primary points:
Originality
Craftsmanship
Resourcefulness

We encourage all entrants to use things they find around the house and get creative with their cosplays. We are not requiring strict screen accuracy for these entries. Originality (mash-ups, reimaginings of characters, etc.) is HIGHLY ENCOURAGED.

Due to this focus of our judging, we will not be dividing entries into our Novice, Journeyman, and Master categories like in our Masquerade. Instead, we will be awarding winners in the four aforementioned categories. When submitting your entry, you agree to any photos being shared via Chicago TARDIS.

PRIZES

One prize will be awarded per each entry category. Each winner will receive $100 towards any future Chicago TARDIS ticket purchase (admission, autograph, photograph, meet & greets, etc.) or a $100 gift certificate to DoctorWhoStore.com or Alien Entertainment Store. Upon appointing winners, they will be able to choose their individual prize.

Judging will be completed and prizes awarded by no later than Wednesday, May 13th. By this time, all winners will be contacted via email. If a chosen winner in any category is not located by this date, Chicago TARDIS reserves the right to choose another winner in that specific category.
