Mickey Lewis

Bio

Mickey has had prominent roles in 23 episodes of Doctor Who, mostly portraying those iconic monsters we all love to hate, Daleks, Cybermen, and a Sea Devil in the Easter special, as well as plenty of other monsters and aliens on the show, including transforming into Jon Pertwee’s Doctor for the 50th Anniversary and being The Master’s Nazi Officer second in command on Spyfall. He has worked with all the Doctors from David Tennant onwards on the show.

Mickey also wrote two original Doctor Who novels for BBC Books: Rags, featuring the Third Doctor and Combat Rock, featuring the Second.

Away from Doctor Who, Mickey has been in three Star Wars movies, (The Force Awakens, Rogue One, and The Last Jedi, where he shared scenes with the late, great Carrie Fisher.) He played a Fleet Trooper, First Order General and Resistance Comms Officer. He has also been involved recently in two new Star Wars series, Andor Series 2 and The Acolyte.

Mickey has also been featured in the Game of Thrones prequel, House of the Dragon, as a Knight of Tarly in series 1 and as a fisherman being dive bombed by a dragon in series 2.

He has also performed a stunt role/ featured villain part (alongside the robot dog!) in season 3 of War of the Worlds; played one of the sinister senior Magisterium in two series of His Dark Materials; a Roman soldier in the violent fantasy Britannia; a Victorian copper zapped by Martians in the BBC War of the Worlds and appeared in the new Batman movie as a SWAT policeman confronting the Riddler’s mayhem.

He also spent four months on the Nazi horror film Overlord, and recently doubled for the Rhino on the new Marvel movie Kraven the Hunter. In the last few months he's had a featured role as a crazy mental patient in Guy Ritchie's Young Sherlock series and a featured role with dialogue in the new Fantastic Four: First Steps, with a very dodgy New York accent!
